Your passport, your green card, your work permit, your I-797 approval form—you are responsible for taking care of them. Scan everything the day you receive it.

Military parole exists, and very few immigrants know about it. If your son or daughter is serving in the U.S. armed forces, you may qualify for humanitarian parole—even if they are 18, 19, or 20 years old.

1️⃣ Go to i94.cbp.dhs.gov and download your I-94 in PDF format
2️⃣ Save it in 3 places: your email, a cloud service like Google Drive, and a physical folder at home
3️⃣ Do the same with your passport, visa, and any permits
